They go hand in hand increasing conversions; however, let’s face it, not all of us have the budget. So, which one should you do? Depends. Keep scrolling so we can break it down for you.Facebook Ads are great for branding and getting in front of your ideal audience. We can target based off of interests, age, gender, income, just engaged, etc. etc. etc. Someone visits your website and leaves? Well, let’s go get that warm lead!We love being able to utilize the warm lead approach of capturing your website escapers with Facebook Ads. Warm leads are key. You have already done the hard part and piqued their interest, so let’s go get creepy and stalk them online to eventually push them over that figurative edge. Sure, you can boost your posts to help with your likes and engagement. But have you ever wondered why that isn’t surfacing any real leads? You are only scratching the surface. You can utilize Facebook Ads to your advantage so much more than that, but the tricky part is knowing how. Sorry to break it to you, but it’s a littttle more complicated than pressing ‘Boost Post.’Lastly, since the pandemic, phone usage is up ~6 hours a day! HA! Yah, you read that correctly. And guess where most people are spending their time? *cough cough* social media. You need to get with the Little Mermaid program and be where the people are. They may not be ready for you at the time, but they are seeing you, you are building trust with them, and when they are ready to make that purchase…BOOM, there you are, top of mind.Only Five percent of internet activity actually takes place on Google. WHAT?! So why do people want to pay the money to be there? Oh, so glad you asked! When people go to Google they are actually searching for what you are offering and ready to make a decision. You are getting ready to purchase buyers at the tip of your fingers. Wouldn’t you want to be there for that?Google produces a bit of a colder lead, but tends to be a quick solution if you want leads now. Facebook is a bit more of a strategic slow burner waiting for it’s chance to pounce.

So, which one should you do?Any single Millennials out there? This one is for you:Blind Dates are Facebook Ads: They have been suggested to you while you may or may not have been looking for it, you know a little bit about them, you trust the type of person they are a bit more than a random, and you meet to see if there is chemistry. It’s up to them to then win your approval.Tinder is Google Ads: You actively went searching, scrolled through your options, and picked a few winners to screen. It is then up to them to fight for your attention and get those other competitors dumped! Is your new potential a Blind Date AND a Tinder Match: Well, that’s just a marketing match made in heaven for conversion!
In conclusion…Do them both if you can. Keep reading…Almost done, we promise! What the sequence of events looks like if you do both and how Facebook Ads and Google Ads work together:
· Random lead sees your ads all over Facebook and Instagram;· They forget about you;· When ready, they do a search on Google;· Oh look, there you are among a sea of competitors.· But wait! Random lead recognizes you from all that amazing Facebook Ad marketing you have been doing.
Who do you think gets the lead?Facebook Ads work to build that trust, while also re-marketing to warmer leads, and Google Ads drive it home. They both work well separately, but when paired together they convert your leads at a higher rate. Both are budget based. You get the flexibility to choose your monthly budget. But keep in mind: you get what you put into it. That is in regards to money, but also expertise. The better your ads are according to Facebook and Google, the less you pay…making your money go much further. Which gives us a nice Segway into our seamless sales plug….
What makes your ads perform better? Having an Ads Specialist.

At Arrova Coast, we know the pro and cons of running certain campaigns, strategies, and objectives. We know what to look for and what to do along your ads journey. We save you hours of time. Time running the campaigns, running through the metrics, and through analytics to understand what is working, your competitors, and who your real converting audiences are, which ultimately saves you money in the end. We could go on, but will leave it there for now!
Interested in Facebook Ads and/or Google Ads? Don’t have the budget for both but need guidance on what is the best option for YOUR specific product or service? Book a free consultation call with McKenna.
