I left a six figure job to travel the world...WHAT WHAT?!
Hey! My name is McKenna and I am the Founder of Arrova Coast. I left Corporate America in 2017 to travel the world, and haven’t looked back since.
After a trip to Thailand in December 2016, I came back to a new year, new me. I am quitting my job and traveling the World solo! People often ask if I was running away from something. When in fact, I wasn’t running away at all. I was running toward something.
Fast forward to 2018, after about a year and a half of travel, I decided it was time to start my own business. Arrova Coast was born. I started off with one client paying $100/mo. and have now built this business to a team of 11 badass gals (and 1 guy!) across the globe. I couldn’t have asked for a better team and life.
I have been in the marketing industry since 2012, so you can be rest assured I am not one of those self-proclaimed digital marketing experts that learned a few things off of YouTube and posting on my own Instagram (amiright?!). My team is all “McKenna approved” and dare I say…the absolute best in the business. Buckle up! You’re in for a ride.

Meet The Team!
Hi, I’m Kirsty! I online stalked McKenna at the start of 2020, and she’s been in love with me ever since. Fast forward to today – I’m her right hand (wo)man and our teams ‘big sister. I’m a creative mind, a walking planner, and one of the first faces you’ll see when you come onboard.
When I’m not working, I’m either at the gym, somewhere in the winelands, spending too long at the beach, or lounging on my very comfortable couch (think Netflix and endless IG scrolling). I love easy Sundays, anxiety free Mondays, and a good cup of coffee. DECAF of course – don’t come for me.
Arrova Coast and ‘work’ will never appear in the same sentence. It feels like so much more. We match badass creatives with incredible business owners, and we do it from ‘office’ places that fill our cup (I was serious about spending too long at the beach) 😉
Hey there! I’m Marianna Meyer, and I’m based in Cape Town, South Africa. I’ve got a degree in Marketing and Communications and have dived into both the fashion (even started my own online vintage shop during COVID—crazy times, right?) and digital marketing worlds. I’ve picked up skills in styling, social media, content creation, and graphic design along the way. Right now, I’m working as a graphic designer here at Arrova Coast.
I grew up in a cute coastal town on the Garden Route, and my love for the ocean and sunshine is a huge part of me. When I’m not working (and I feel super lucky that my job lets me enjoy life!), you’ll probably catch me surfing, hiking in the mountains, or off exploring new places!
With over 11 years of marketing experience, I’m your paid ads gal at Arrova Coast. I’m deeply passionate about Meta Ads, as it’s the perfect blend of creativity and analytics, which suits my personality to a T. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working across a range of industries, from luxury goods to FMCG brands like those in the coffee sector. What truly drives me, though, is helping small businesses grow. There’s nothing more rewarding than watching a brand bloom and knowing you played even a small part in that journey.
Outside of work, I’m a proud wife and mom to two very energetic little ones. When I’m not running campaigns, you’ll find me deep in a book, exploring hidden gems around my city, or glued to a motorsport race: F1 and MotoGP weekends are sacred in our household!
Hi, I’m Adebowale, and I am your Website Developer. I’m a full-stack (backend-heavy) software engineer. I use JavaScript as my go to programming language to build both front and backend applications.
I have over 8 years of experience building websites and online presence for clients around the world as a freelancer. My go to tools are Node/Express for building APIs (applications programming interfaces), React/Redux as my frontend framework of choice, and of course, HTML and CSS for presentation.
I joined Arrova Coast as a web developer where I work on anything from bug fixes, integrations, website development, to website maintenance and management. On the side, I’m working on Sprawts – a donation platform, which I call the gofundme of Africa.
When I’m not working, I’m somewhere solving some data structure and algorithms challenges.
Hi, I’m Ruby, a brand designer and Arrova Coast team member since 2021.
Before that, I studied journalism and naturopathy (because your girl does love a healthy lifestyle). I started out as a CCM, but after a few years, I realised I was far more drawn to the design side of things, so here we are!
I’m slightly obsessed with our team and the standard of work we put out. It’s one of those environments where you either get it or you don’t, but if you’ve made it this far, I have a feeling you’ll be here to stay.
Fun fact: My grandmother was a famous tile designer, and my mom is a ceramic artist, so I like to think I’m carrying on the family thread, mine just happens to be in the digital space.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me surfing, even when it’s questionably cold, slowing down with yoga, singing loudly and badly, or spending time with people who make life feel full.

Hi, I’m Nadhira from Indonesia! I currently live in Bali but am originally from Jakarta, the capital – which makes me a city girl at heart. I graduated with a Communications degree majoring in Public Relations, but my real passion is in all things digital marketing.
I would think of myself as a creative person, tinkering and trying out different elements in the graphic design department where I let my ideas flow, but I’m also a sucker when it comes to data analysis. I enjoy making reports and creating beautiful graphics that make clients go, wow!
Aside from my professional life, I like bringing friends together and playing board games with them once a week. Yes, I’m a board game nerd and no, not the Monopoly-type… I’m very into modern strategy games with lots of thinking involved. CrossFit is also something I enjoy doing 5 times a week to start my day fresh and fully energized 😊

I live in Cape Town, South Africa, where I’m lucky to be surrounded by both the ocean and the mountains — my two happy places.
For the past nine years, I’ve been a teacher, working with children and loving every minute of it. But recently, I made the jump to a new way of life through Social Media & Marketing because I wanted to express myself in a fresh way and learn more about the world around me.

Hi, I’m Taylor! I somehow turned my obsession with social media into a full-time job, and honestly… no complaints.
I’m the type of person who loves a good idea, a better caption, and making things look just right. Equal parts creative brain and organised chaos – I’ll hype your brand up while colour-coding the content calendar behind the scenes.
When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me playing padel, doing barre Pilates (trying to be consistent!), walking my dog Nala, or somewhere between a coffee shop and a padel court (or a dog park). I’m a sucker for a good routine, a good playlist, and a GREAT decaf cappuccino.
Arrova Coast already feels like one of those “how is this my job?” moments. It’s more than just work – it’s creative energy, good people, and doing what we love from places that don’t feel like offices at all 🤍

Hi, I’m Isabella ☆
I work in social, but really I’m in the business of making people feel something. Whether that’s through content, community, or a perfectly timed post that just hits. I’ve worked across brands like Tinder, Huel, and CASETiFY, building content and communities that people actually want to be part of. I’m into ideas that feel current, a little unexpected, and slightly addictive.
Outside of that, I’m a singer, songwriter and DJ… so everything I do tends to revolve around mood, timing and energy (and probably a very specific playlist for every situation).
When I’m offline, I’m either at Pilates, at yoga, writing songs or little poems, baking something sweet, or watching films and leaving probably-too-honest reviews on my Letterboxd. I romanticise small things and will always notice a good aesthetic.
I like things that feel intentional, a little bit different, and not overly explained… the kind of work that just makes sense without trying too hard.
